Forge World Executioner - Clean-up Time

I just couldn't stop myself from doing a bit more work on this today. I still need to finish the restraints on the pioneer kit and do a bit of clean-up but otherwise, barring any feedback from the online community, I think it's time to set the model aside and move on to the base.

A friend is sending me some of the FW Krieg decals to help with the finishing touches and I'm going to test the paint scheme on... something prior to putting this thing in the same room as my airbrush. I'm sure I can dig up a tank from one of my boxes.

And now... back to my Vostroyans!

The amount of effort you're putting into this is really impressive mate. How many hours would you say you've put into the project already?

Oh, wow... I haven't really thought about it. More than anything I've ever completed before. At a guess... maybe 10-20 hours in detailing at this point. I know that's a broad range but I really wasn't keeping track.

A lot of the work was done between casts while the Secret Weapon Miniatures pressure tanks were cycling :)

Reading that last sentence, I had visions of a mad scientist working over a desk in a secret lab with huge vats in the background!

I might pickup one of those pannier sheets for when I build my next Russ, they do look really nice mate.

Thanks - the pannier sheet is one of my favorite products now. I'd been looking forward to it for a long time. Of course when the razor wire gets here in a couple of weeks I'll say the same thing ;)
